Safe Routes To School at 98 Saint Paul St, Brookline 02446

Coming downhill from Longwood Ave, the crosswalk is almost hidden. Cars always zoom past people waiting. We've seen kids almost get hit there many times :( Can we put a blinking crosswalk light?!
CLOSED This intersection will likely receive improvements soon as part of a new Town initiative. I emailed you with more detail. --Amy Ingles, Transportation Administrator - 3 months ago #53041

Hole in eastbound lanes of Rt 9 due to missing cap for gas line access. At intersection with cypress--major crossing point for Pierce students walking to OLS. A child could get a shoe/foot stuck.

Safe Routes To School at Emerald Necklace Trail

I'm so happy that none of the drivers have made their New Year's resolution to stop for red lights, or people crossing when they have a red.

Safe Routes To School at 30–50 School St

I realize that no one is at the Pierce school now, but there still needs to be a safe way for library patrons to cross School Street! Please put in a crosswalk, at least.
CLOSED There had been a crosswalk there, but it was deemed unsafe due to sightline issues and proximity to an existing signal. We are asking that people cross at Washington St during this interim condition. - 3 months ago #52824

12/29/24. Paul’s dogwalking business forces folks (woman & dog;dad & baby;etc) off sidewalk into street. Rude, dangerous, belligerent. Rehabilitate or ban Paul’s dogwalking business from Brookline.

What will it take before the town or the state does something about the drivers who are driving straight through the red light/walk signal here? Injury, dismemberment, death?

Nearly run over again both going to BEEP and coming back from drop off by cars going through the red light here. Can the town send an officer to direct traffic?
